Adam "Pacman" Jones, troubled footballer, has formally apologised to his team for an incident at a hotel that saw him involved in a confrontation. Jones was only transferred to the Cowboys after his troubles off-field strained the Tennessee Titans.
The Cowboys said they'd investigated the incident, and found Jones would be free from disciplinary measures. Following training on Friday, Jones brought the team into a huddle on the field to apologise, and promised to stay out of trouble.

Tuesday, September 9, 2008New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady is likely to play in his team's season opener on Sunday against Kansas City. Brady was not listed on the injury list, or the practice participation report, sparking the speculation.
Brady had missed all for pre-season exhibition matches with an injury to his right foot. It is also the first time since 2005 that Brady has not been listed on the team's injury report. Despite this, he started every game.
Packers Accuse Vikings of Tampering
Monday, July 21, 2008The Green Bay Packers have alleged to the NFL that the Minnesota Vikings inappropriately contacted retired quarterback Brett Favre. The allegations come after Favre said he wants to come out of retirement and play for the Vikings.
The Vikings addressed the allegation by saying they "are not commenting on the issue. These types of matters are handled by the league." Favre has asked the Packers to release him from his contract. A friend of Favre's is a Vikings offensive coach.
The NFL also declined to comment on the matter.
